We have selected some non-profits to highlight for our 2022 Black History Month celebration. Each fund either supports the 2022 Black History Month theme of Black Health & Wellness or supports historically marginalized groups in technology.

Our mission is to empower young women of color between the ages of 7-17 to embrace the current tech marketplace as builders and creators by introducing them to skills in computer programming and technology.

All Star Code Inc.

All Star Code creates economic opportunity by developing a new generation of boys and young men of color with an entrepreneurial mindset who have the tools they need to succeed in a technological world.

National Black Women's Health Project, (DBA Black Women's Health Imperative)

The Black Women's Health Imperative is the only national organization dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our nation's 21 million Black women and girls – physically, emotionally and financially.MISSIONAdvancing health equity and social justice for Black women, across the lifespan, through policy, advocacy, education, research and leadership development.VISIONAll Black women will enjoy optimal health in a society that promotes health equity and social justice.BOLD GOALTo increase the number of healthy Black women in the U.S. from 9.5 million to 12.5 million by 2020.

African American Wellness Project

Our mission is to improve the health among people of color by not only providinghealth information but providing tools to better utilize a health care systemwhich is often unfair or unjust to African Americans.To this end, we produce a range of initiatives on various media platforms toconnect to our audience, such as Black Doctors Speak, our regular podcast, AfricanAmerican Wellness Watch, a weekly Facebook Live event in partnership, a monthly newsletter, and a growing presence on the traditionalairwaves of television and radio, where in addition to local radio shows webroadcast Health Public Service Announcements reaching 1.2M TV viewers on2500 stations and 4.5M radio listeners on 10,000 stations.

Loveland Foundation is committed to showing up for communities of color in unique and powerful ways, with a particular focus on Black women and girls. Our resources and initiatives are collaborative and they prioritize opportunity, access, validation, and healing.
